HEBRON Free Presbyterian Church in Ballymoney is shortly expected to welcome 34 Ukrainian evacuees who have fled their own country, in the wake of Russian invasion.

The first large group of evacuees to arrive in Northern Ireland will be accommodated locally.

The plan came about thanks to an organisation called 'Faith in Action', working on the ground in Ukraine, with government agencies here and the council now involved in organising their arrival and stay.
