THE NI Policing Board and Causeway Coast and Glens Council (CC&G) have refused to deny speculation that a storm has erupted within the local Police and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP).
The PCSP, comprised of councillors and independent members, identifies issues of public concern in relation to policing and community safety and work to improve co-operation with the police.
They also administer a small grants fund.
More than one source has told The Chronicle that the controversy centres on an Audit Report recommendation, that would see independent members put off judging panels for a grants programme, even if there is no conflict of interest.
