Legion fundraising ‘severely hampered’

HE BRANCH Chairman of the Bushmills Royal British Legion has spoken of the difficulties that the coronavirus pandemic has had on fundraising efforts.

Andy McGugan explained that the Legion has continued to support worthy causes throughout the pandemic, as well as hosting ‘poignant and touching’ services throughout the year.

Speaking to The Chronicle, Andy also thanked businesses and members for their support throughout these unprecedented times.
“Sadly this year branch fundraising has severely hampered by the restraints posed by Covid-19,” he said.
