FIFTY-EIGHT health care staff  were attacked at Causeway Hospital last year with nurses bearing the brunt of violence while trying to treat patients, the Chronicle can exclusively reveal.
The shocking figure follows repeated warnings from District Judge Liam McNally that the courts will not tolerate attacks on staff or disorderly behaviour at the Coleraine hospital.
